Art Spectrum Colourfix papers are sheets of acid-free, 300 gsm, heat-pressed European watercolor paper.
The paper is lightfast with a fine, deep serration. It holds multiple layers of pastel without the need for a fixative, preserving the velvety, vibrant colors of pastels.
It is a superb medium for pastels, oil colors, acrylics, inks, oil pastels, gouache, watercolors and dry media such as charcoal and pencils.
Erasing is also easy, just peel off excess pastel with clear tape, brush it off with a dry brush or use a pencil eraser.
Mistakes can also be repainted or areas can be touched up with the corresponding color. The tough, serrated surface can be sanded, rubbed, dipped and reworked again and again.
Available in a range of 20 colors.
